Interactive Warehouse

With a clear goal of building a new cutting edge facility in Sydney, Interactive approached arnoldlane to design a new 2000sqm warehousing, dispatch and engineering operation to support the business. Interactive have been a client of arnoldlane since 2004. Interactive provide Business Recovery planning, Disaster Recovery and Hardware Maintenance services. The first project was in Sydney and since then the company has embarked on a rapid expansion with additional projects undertaken in Brisbane, a second site in Sydney, 1 Tarver Street Port Melbourne, 437 and 461 Williamstown Road Port Melbourne. During this time we have developed a good deal of trust and rapport with the client. Through the success of previous projects and positive feedback from clients and vendors they now value design as a key component of their brand that sets them apart from the competition.

The client brief for the design of the new warehouse and engineering facility was therefore unusual as design formed a key component of the brief. Interactive requested a warehouse, dispatch and engineering facility that would far exceed their industry competitors in terms of design, technology, function and operation.

The warehouse and engineering facility represents the first point of contact for many clients and vendors and included client tours, so in addition to the functional component of the brief, a high level of design and finish was required. Straight lines, simple forms and a restrained palette reinforce the company values "Peace of Mind", "Integrity" and "Systems availability".

Our client attributes the success of their business to their ability to deliver and exceed their own clients’ expectation equally with the company image and brand arnoldlane have helped establish. They understand the value of "good design" to their business and brand.
